Leslie Jimenez is a committed healthcare provider, who is devoted to supporting the welfare of children and families. She strives to provide equitable services to children and their families in order to support these individuals to achieve their goals. Prior to WIN, Leslie has provided mental health services to children of diverse age groups and backgrounds. However, most recently, Leslie worked very closely with early childhood clients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) where she had the opportunity to work with several diverse families and young children with different mental health impairments and neurodevelopmental delays.
Leslie has provided weekly home sessions and has collaborated with teachers and other service providers in an effort to better support the child’s overall development and success in the world. Leslie places a strong emphasis on family involvement, recognizing the importance caregiver roles play in shaping and improving their child’s socio-emotional well-being. Leslie hopes to apply her ever-growing understanding and skill-set to enhance the parent-child bond through a family-centered approach. Leslie received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Sociology from the University of Southern California and obtained her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California.
