Destiny Howell has joined WIN as a Community Resource Coordinator, Innovations 2 project. As a public health social worker, Destiny Is committed to making a difference in the lives of children, communities, and their families, in the acquisition of health management. The highlight of her career has been profoundly investing in non-profit organizations that focus on harm reduction and trauma-informed models that promote family health, wellness, and resiliency, in efforts to address social determinants and adversities.
Destiny has a BA in sociology from Cal State-Northridge and a dual master in social work and public health from the University of Southern California. Within her degrees of study, Destiny has focused on cultivating systems to address disparities in the social welfare system of those at risk of abuse, neglect, physical, emotional, social, and educational adversities.
